Support The CDM Movement and Earthquake recovery

Millions of CDM participants have courageously walked off their jobs in the fight for democracy. They urgently need support to cover basic needs—food, healthcare, and housing to support their struggle.

Many of these same activists are also struggling to rebuild after the recent earthquake, all while living under a military regime that seizes aid and blocks assistance to those it views as opponents.

We work closely with trusted partners on the ground to identify those most in need and deliver support directly to them. By supporting striking workers, you can stand in solidarity with Myanmar’s democracy movement, no matter where in the world you are.

MAM’s board members cover all operating costs so that we can maximize the power and positive impact of donations like yours.

Mutual Aid Myanmar has primarily worked in support of democracy by providing funds to the Civil Disobedience Movement. Because of the acute need created by the March 2025 earthquake and our strong network of local distributors, MAM is temporarily shifting focus to earthquake relief. MAM will eventually return to CDM support, but all funds donated to MAM while this page describes earthquake relief will go to earthquake relief.

Mutual Aid Myanmar works with verified partners to securely distribute funds to those in need. In order to protect our distribution partners in Myanmar we are unable to name our partners publicly.
